Bromodomain And PHD Finger Containing Protein 3 (BRPF3)
BRPF3, Contains 1 bromo domain.Contains 1 PHD-type zinc finger.Contains 1 PWWP domain. Component of the MOZ/MORF complex which has a histone H3 acetyltransferase activity. Component of the MOZ/MORF complex composed at least of ING5, MYST3/MOZ, MYST4/MORF, MEAF6 and one of BRPF1, BRD1/BRPF2 and BRPF3.
The chromosomal loci of the genes were assigned by using human-rodent hybrid panels unless their mapping data were already available in the public databases. The expression profiles of the genes were studied in 10 human tissues, 8 brain regions, spinal cord, fetal brain and fetal liver by reverse transcription-coupled polymerase chain reaction, products of which were quantified by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.
