Endometrial Stromal Cells (ESC)

Endometrial Stromal Cells (ESCs) are the predominant mesenchymal cell population of the endometrium, accounting for 70–80% of total endometrial cells. Isolated directly from tissue biopsies via enzymatic digestion, PESCs retain in vivo phenotypic markers (vimentin⁺, cytokeratin⁻) and strong hormone responsiveness, mediating key reproductive processes like decidualization, menstrual cycling, and embryo implantation.
