Ascites cancer cell (Ascites carcinoma cells) is a tumor characterized by the proliferation of tumor cells in ascites. Belong to the same matrix cell (the ascites) the tumor liquid separation, has obvious characteristics of malignant tumor.
There are two kinds of ascites tumor, that is from the beginning of the tumor and ascites type that will transform the original into solid tumor ascites tumor, such as the former Yoshida sarcoma , the latter such as Ehrlich ascites carcinoma (mice) and ascites hepatoma (rats).
