Glomerular Podocytes (GP)

Glomerular podocytes are specialized cells located in the Bowman's capsule of the kidney. They are an essential part of the kidney filtration system, known as the glomerular filtration barrier. Dysfunction of podocytes can lead to kidney diseases such as nephrotic syndrome and glomerulonephritis.
