Luciferase BEL-7402 Hepatocellular Carcinoma Cells (BEL-7402-GFP-Luc	)

BEL-7402-Luc cell line is a human hepatoma (liver cancer) cell line that has been genetically modified to express the firefly luciferase reporter gene. BEL-7402-Luc cell line can produce bioluminescence when the luciferase enzyme reacts with luciferin. This allows researchers to monitor and quantify gene expression in these cells by measuring the emitted light.

The use of the BEL-7402-Luc cell line in research enables scientists to study various aspects of liver cancer biology, including cell signaling pathways, drug response, and tumor growth. By employing bioluminescence imaging techniques, researchers can visualize and track tumor growth in vivo in animal models. This cell line is particularly useful for studies involving liver cancer pathogenesis, drug screening, and investigating novel therapeutic strategies aimed at treating hepatocellular carcinoma.
