Luciferase HaCat Epidermal Cells (Hacat-GFP-Luc)

HaCaT-Luc cell line is a human keratinocyte cell line that has been engineered to stably express the firefly luciferase reporter gene. Similar to other luciferase-expressing cell lines, HaCaT-Luc cells produce bioluminescence when the luciferase enzyme catalyzes the oxidation of luciferin. The introduction of the luciferase reporter gene allows researchers to monitor the activity of specific genes or signaling pathways in these cells by measuring the bioluminescent signal.
