AC16 Myocardial Cells (AC16)

AC16 is a cardiomyocyte cell line derived from a human embryonic stem cell line. These cells exhibit many characteristics of adult cardiomyocytes, including the presence of contractile machinery and the ability to respond to various physiological stimuli.

AC16 cells have been widely used in cardiovascular research to study the molecular mechanisms underlying heart disease and to develop new therapeutic strategies for treating cardiac disorders. Their use has provided valuable insights into the biology of the heart and has the potential to lead to the development of novel treatments for heart disease.
