MH-S

MH-S cell line is a murine alveolar macrophage cell line that was originally derived from the lungs of a C57BL/6 mouse. MH-S cells are commonly used in immunology and respiratory research to study pulmonary immune responses, macrophage function, and inflammation in the lung. These cells provide a valuable model system for investigating host defense mechanisms against respiratory pathogens, as well as for understanding the role of alveolar macrophages in lung diseases, such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and pulmonary infections.

Organism species: Mus musculus (Mouse)
