The newly-built SPF Laboratory Animal Center gained administrative license

The newly-built SPF Laboratory Animal Center, general level of rabbit and guinea pig Center smoothly passed on-site audit by Hubei Provincial Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as the expert group composed of the director of Animal Center, Wuhan University and experts from Wuhan Institute of Biological Products and Hubei Pharmaceutical Industry Research Institute.

 

The expert group listened to our reports, assessed experimental facilities, examined professional knowledge of employees and checked related materials. The group agreed that the employees in our Animal Center are very professional that they not only have the Certificate of Laboratory Animal Technician but also they are familiar with all experimental protocols and related regulations. Furthermore, all the detection indicators of our laboratory animal facilities are in line with National Laboratory Animal Environmental Facilities Standard (GB/14925-2001). All of our laboratory animal experiments comply with state regulations, animal welfare and animal ethics requirements and Hubei Province Laboratory Animal Regulations.

The newly-built Laboratory Animal Center and the old one in administrative permission cover an area of 1200 square meters in total, containing a SPF laboratory animal facility of 320 square meters and 1440 rabbit cages.
