USCN participate the fourteenth Convention of Overseas Chinese Scholars with the Wuhan government delegation

The 14^th Guangzhou Convention of Overseas Chinese Scholars in Science and Technology was opened on Dec 20^th,2011. Li Yuanchao, the member of Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, the member of secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, and Wang Yang, the member of Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, the secretary of Guangdong provincial committee of the CPC, attended the convention.

The Convention is a large platform for China to attract overseas talent. Since its inception in 1998, it have attracted 26,000 overseas talent to participate. There are 2200 participated the 14^th convention, and more then 55% are doctor degree and above. And more then 100 experts from USA, UK, Russia, Japan, Ukraine attended the convention. Li Yuanchao made a speech in the opening ceremony, China is in rapid development and transformation process, it provides opportunities for talent. We will lead to increase the intensity of attracting talent, and improve the policies and service, in order to create a better environment and conditions for overseas talent to innovation and entrepreneurship.

The delegation of Wuhan is led by Tang Huihu, the Deputy Secretary-General of Wuhan. The delegation composed by members from Wuhan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Science and Technology Bureau and other relevant departments, High tech development zone in East lake, and CMC of Wuhan Economic & Technology Development Zone.

The CEO of our company, Li Huanyuan, along with the delegation to attended the opening ceremony of the convention which held at Pazhou Exhibition Center and the reception meeting in Baiyun Exhibition Center. The next day, he participated the association of wuhan municipal government at Jin Jia Li Hotel.
