PRODUCT INFORMATION
Isotype control is commonly used as negative control in flow cytometry, it has no specificity for target molecules in specific experiment, but maintains all other characteristics of primary antibody used in the experiment. The purpose of isotype control is to confirm the specificity of primary antibody, in the meanwhile, it also shows the fluorescence resulting from FC receptor mediated biding and other non-specific cellular protein interactions.
