Visceral Adipose Cells (VAC)

Adipose Cells (Adipocytes), also known as lipocytes and fat cells, are the cells that primarily compose adipose tissue, specialized in storing energy as fat.Visceral Adipose cells (VAC) is one kind of human body fat, different from subcutaneous fat.It revolves around the organs, mainly in the abdominal cavity,  playing a role of support, stability and protection for the internal organs.Visceral fat deposition is closely related to the occurrence and development of obesity related diseases such as diabetes mellitus, coronary heart disease and so on. Therefore, it is important to study the regulation mechanism of visceral adipose cells in the prevention and treatment of obesity and related diseases.Visceral Adipose cells are isolated from visceral fat.
