Mouse Model for Hemopoietic Microenvironment Injury (HMI)

  • Product No.DSI746Mu01
  • Organism SpeciesMus musculus (Mouse) Same name, Different species.
  • Prototype SpeciesHuman
  • SourceInduced by Co60γ Irradiate to nude mice
  • Model Animal StrainsBALB/c -nu/nu nude mice (SPF), 6 week, body weight: 18~22g
  • Modeling GroupingRandomly divided into six group: Control group, Model group, Positive drug group and Test drug group
  • Modeling Period3 weeks
  • Modeling Method1. The gamma ray irradiation (Co60γ) with single dose of 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 Gy was used to simulate the functional damage of the mild, moderate and severe hematopoietic microenvironment.
    2. After irradiation, the general situation of the nude mice, the changes of hemogram, megakaryocyte count and the formation of the colony forming unit (colony forming unit-fibroblast, CFU-F) of bone marrow stromal cells were observed. The mortality of nude mice after irradiation in 21d was recorded and the survival rate was calculated.
